I had a bad accident and my Taycan key got run over. It's pretty damaged now. It still works, but the key looks awful. I'm not just looking for a shell replacement; I need a full replacement of the outside while keeping the original parts inside.

Could someone tell me where I can get this done or where I can find replacement parts? If there's a cheaper way to get what I want, I'd rather not go through the dealership.

Since it’s a Taycan key, you might want to keep it as authentic as possible for that Porsche vibe. Like without looking cheap plastic, or cloned from some where else sketchy. There are online Porsche parts suppliers that sell OEM key shells, usually cheaper than going through the dealership but still genuine. I’d recommend reaching out to one of those. If you’re worried about swapping the parts over yourself, most automotive repair shops or locksmiths can handle it for you.

You could try finding a used key fob on eBay. But you'll need to get it programmed by the dealer. Or maybe you can find someone who can fix the shell of your old key.

Any updates on your Taycan key situation? Were you able to find a replacement or get it fixed elsewhere?
