My 2020 Taycan has been in the shop for four weeks now, and the dealership keeps giving me the runaround. They say they're waiting for a service update, but they have no idea when it will arrive. Apparently, this issue is affecting Taycans worldwide, and dealerships everywhere are unable to deliver their serviced cars.
Does anyone else have any information about this service update? Is this a legitimate excuse, or is there something else going on?

I think it is. I read another saying the same thing so it could be that there is an update they need to make to fix the issue. But not completely sure.

Hey, if your 2020 Taycan is stuck in the shop due to a service update, you're not alone. A lot of owners are dealing with similar delays. Many have mentiond that recalls and updates are causing holdups, with one person saying, "The recall is screwing everyone and everything." Battery issues are also a common problem, like one owner who said, "My Taycan’s been in for a battery fault and going dead. It’s been 2 months, and they’re still waiting on tools from Germany to fix it."
