At 2,300 miles, my car showed “Electrical system error SERVICE REQUIRED” and wouldn’t move. Roadside assistance was useless, I was on hold for over 40 minutes. The dealer told me to call them for towing, adding to the frustration. I’ll share updates, but so far, this experience has been disappointing.

The car showed an “Electrical system error SERVICE REQUIRED” message and wouldn’t move. Still waiting for the dealer to diagnose it.

After the diagnosis, it turned out to be an issue with the high-voltage battery connection, causing the "Electrical system error" message. The dealer was able to fix it by tightening the connections and performing a software update.

Glad to hear it got fixed, though I’m sure it was frustrating. It’s great that tightening the battery connections and updating the software resolved the issue. Hopefully, everything is running smoothly now!

yeah, so far, so good! Thanks for asking

Looks like it just needed a little “tightening up” and a software pep talk! Glad it’s all fixed, hopefully no more electrical drama! Appreciate the update:)

it was just a loose battery cable that stopped your Taycan not a total battery failure, which is good! But still a loose connection on a Porsche is pretty bad quality control. They fixed it by tightening it and updating the softwarewhich is good but the bad roadside service and dealer experience are still unacceptable. Hopefully you got a good loaner car and maybe some free service as an apology. Keep an eye on the car for any more electrical problems and don't be afraid to complain if you have any more issues.
