My 2020 Taycan 4S has an annoying rattle from the front passenger window on bumpy roads. Pulling the window down seems to stop it, so I suspect it’s the window against the frame. The dealership couldn’t fix it, any tips for solving this?

Looks to me that the window might not be sitting right or there could be some debris in the seal. Try giving the window seals and frame a good clean to get rid of any dirt or grime. If the rattle persists, a little silicone based lube on the seals might help reduce friction.

I'll clean the window seals and frame thoroughly. If the rattle continues, I'll try a silicone-based lubricant to reduce friction and see if that helps resolve the issue.

If the rattle is coming from the B-pillar area, it's a common issue. The dealership can usually resolve this by adding some foam padding to the area.

Hey, I've read that one thing that can cause rattles in the Taycan is the door panels not fitting right. One guy said the panels weren't held on tight, so they were moving around. He fixed it by squeezing some foam between the panel and the car door.

Another guy said he used foam tape to stop plastic parts from rubbing together. He said it fixed almost all his rattles!

Thanks, I'll try foam between the door panel and car or foam tape to reduce the rattles. I hope it workds
